Central Heating.

Central heating is classed as everything from the boiler to the radiators including the pump, zone valves and also the heating of the domestic water.

The Domestic water (the hot water that comes out of the taps) is normally heated   either in a cylinder, (usually in the airing   cupboard), or in a combi boiler (instant hot   water). 

We can install, modify or repair all types  of heating and domestic systems. This includes gas and oil boilers, system boilers, combi (combination) boilers, conventional boilers etc.

Some  of the things we do with a price guide are  listed below: 

• Replace boiler like for like. £600 plus cost of boiler.
• Replace cylinder in airing cupboard. £300 plus cost of cylinder and parts.
• Replace radiator with like for like £50.00 plus  cost of new radiator. If the system needs draining and refilling because the valves do not hold then this would of course be extra. We would also recommend the valves be changed if they do not hold.
• Change circulating pumps. This is more difficult to price. Everything depends on whether the pump valves stop the heating water. If they do then it would be £45.00 plus the cost of the pump. If the valves do not hold then the system will need to be drained and refilled, therefore taking a lot longer.
• Replacing all radiator valves with thermastatic valves. £50.00 plus £15.00 per radiator.
